Customer Rights
Right to Accurate Information:
Customers have the right to receive clear, accurate, and timely information regarding travel packages, accommodations, prices, inclusions, exclusions, and any special terms before booking.
Ting Tong Travels will provide full transparency about any additional fees, surcharges, or taxes applicable to the travel services.
Right to Safe and Secure Travel:
Customers are entitled to expect that all travel services, accommodations, and transportation provided through Ting Tong Travels meet safety standards.
Ting Tong Travels will not book or suggest any service providers or accommodations that compromise on customer safety.
Right to Fair Pricing:
Customers have the right to fair and competitive pricing for travel services offered by Ting Tong Travels.
All prices will be clearly stated in advance and should not change once the customer has confirmed the booking unless caused by uncontrollable factors like changes in taxes or fuel surcharges.
Right to Cancellation & Refund:
Customers have the right to cancel their bookings in line with Ting Tong Travels' cancellation policy and should receive a refund as per the agreed terms.
Any refund or cancellation fees will be clearly communicated at the time of booking, ensuring no hidden charges.
Right to Amendment:
Customers have the right to request amendments to their bookings (subject to availability) and will be informed of any additional costs associated with these changes.
Right to Customer Support:
Customers are entitled to professional and responsive customer service before, during, and after their travel.
Any queries, concerns, or complaints must be addressed promptly by Ting Tong Travels' customer service team.
Right to Compensation:
If a customer’s trip is affected by failure to provide promised services (e.g., incorrect accommodation, canceled activities), they have the right to receive compensation or an alternative arrangement as per the company's policies.
Right to Privacy & Data Protection:
Customers have the right to have their personal information handled securely and only used for the purpose of the travel booking and services provided by Ting Tong Travels.
Ting Tong Travels will ensure compliance with data protection laws and will not share personal data with third parties without the customer’s explicit consent.
Right to Lodge Complaints:
Customers have the right to lodge complaints regarding any aspect of their travel experience. Complaints should be submitted in writing or through the customer support channels provided by Ting Tong Travels.
Customers can expect their complaints to be acknowledged and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
Right to be Informed of Travel Risks:
Ting Tong Travels will inform customers of any known risks, safety concerns, or health advisories relevant to their travel destination.
Booking & Payments:
A confirmed booking requires a 50% advance payment or as per the package details. The balance must be paid before the start of the trip, unless otherwise specified.
Payments can be made via credit/debit cards, bank transfer, or any other method specified by Ting Tong Travels.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Cancellations must be made in writing. The refund policy is based on the cancellation window:
30 days prior to the travel date: Full refund minus service fees
15-29 days prior: 50% refund
Less than 15 days: No refund
Refund processing may take up to 15 business days.
Amendments:
Any amendments to bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Travel Insurance:
Ting Tong Travels recommends that all travelers have valid travel insurance covering medical, trip cancellations, and other possible risks.
Travel Documentation:
All travelers must carry valid identification and travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) where applicable. Ting Tong Travels is not responsible for any issues related to improper documentation.
Liabilities:
Ting Tong Travels acts as an agent for hotels, transportation, and other services, and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused during the trip.
Force Majeure:
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances like natural disasters, strikes, or political events that may affect travel plans, Ting Tong Travels will do its best to offer alternatives or refunds where possible, but cannot be held responsible for the situation.
Behavior:
All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Any inappropriate behavior or damage to property may result in termination of services without a refund.
